Job Summary

Royalty Medical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
  • Ensure accurate and timely results, following laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Communicate test results and analysis to medical staff, including pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain proper inventory of supplies and equipment, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines and regulations.
  • Continuously stay updated with new developments and advancements in laboratory science.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of lab assistants and other personnel.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain appropriate certification and licensure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license from a recognized certifying agency.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory environment.
  • Proficient in laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
