Role Summary

Clinical Liaisons at Stillwater Medical are responsible for developing and implementing activities to educate, market, and inform professionals and communities about the SMC Rehabilitation Program and services.

This role involves serving as an admission screener for rehabilitation candidates, both internally and externally, and completing Admission Screens in accordance with policy and CMS guidelines.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager of Admission Coordination and Compliance and Medical Director to ensure the success and cost-effectiveness of the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activities to promote the SMC Rehabilitation Program and services
  • Serve as an admission screener for rehabilitation candidates
  • Complete Admission Screens in accordance with policy and CMS guidelines
  • Work closely with the Manager of Admission Coordination and Compliance and Medical Director

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Nursing, or Social Work, and will have applicable and current licensure to practice.

Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations is also required.

Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate adequate vision, hearing, and stamina to deal with stressful situations and complete necessary work schedules.
