Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled LPN/LVN to join our team at Ascension Providence, a state-of-the-art hospital in Waco, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, using your knowledge and skills to promote optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this position include:
  • Providing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administering medications and treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services as ordered by a physician.
  • Educating patients and families about disease treatment plans, self-care, and available resources.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a current LPN/LVN license in the state of Texas, as well as a Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program permit (GVN). A BLS Provider certification is also required within one month of hire date. Additionally, you must have a High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
