Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Technician Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of occupants.
  • JOBS Process Management: Maintain the JOBS process and steps for fire work, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
  • Compliance and Training: Stay current on OSHA requirements (state and federal) for compliance and train new and existing technicians on fire alarm systems and company procedures.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate scheduling, prepare intake forms, and coordinate monitoring agreements for contract issuance.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise the Fire Technician Department, including direct reports, and uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Minimum Level II or III NICET certification or ESA Equivalent, local and state fire alarm license, and a valid state driver's license.
  • Education and Experience: Four-year college or university program certificate or two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, and reach with hands or arms for an extended period.
