We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Stay up-to-date with safety protocols and procedures to maintain a culture of safety and compliance
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Power Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
