Responsibilities:
1. Conduct inspections and perform repairs on pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems associated with printing equipment.

2. Ensure a clean and organized workspace and maintain the machinery in optimal condition.

3. Procure necessary components in urgent situations.

4. Provide assistance to other departments as directed by the Group Leader or Supervisor.

5. Take charge of machinery in scenarios that may pose risks of personal injury or potential damage to equipment.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Familiarity with mechanical systems and a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge effectively.

3. Proficient troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.


4. Capability to lift 50 pounds at least 10 times during a shift and occasionally lift 50 pounds above shoulder height.

5. Ability to safely navigate on and off a forklift without assistance.


6. Competence in operating a forklift in busy, low-clearance environments while ensuring the safety of others.

7. Must not be prone to sudden changes in consciousness.

8. Adequate hearing to recognize and respond to audible warnings, alarms, and signals from forklifts.


9. Vision acuity of 20/40 or better, with peripheral vision of at least 70 degrees, and the ability to read 10–12-point font from a distance of 12-18 inches.

10. Willingness to work at heights, with or without fall protection, and not be at risk for sudden changes in consciousness.

11. Ability to safely climb ladders without assistance at least 15 times during a shift.


12. Sufficient verbal communication skills to utilize a radio or paging system to connect with colleagues in different areas.

13. Proficient use of both hands for effective manipulation of tools and components.

14. Ability to work in overhead or awkward positions frequently.

15. Capacity to stand or walk for 7 hours during an 8 to 12-hour shift.
