Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation programs to ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations.
  • Lead and manage direct and indirect teams to complete assigned sanitation tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to sanitation and food safety protocols.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on sanitation and food safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Technology, Food Microbiology, Biology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sanitation and food safety in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Progressive sanitation supervision experience in a food manufacturing facility regulated by the FDA or USDA.
  • Leadership experience in developing and implementing sanitation programs.
  • Certifications in PCQI, HACCP, and Internal Auditing are preferred.
