Restaurant Host

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Restaurant Host to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner, escorting them to their tables and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
• Monitor guest needs and the flow of the restaurant, seating guests accordingly and delivering menus and kid packs as needed.
• Perform restroom checks, answer phone calls, and maintain a clean and organized lobby, bakery, and retail areas.
• Practice safe food and beverage handling, and communicate effectively with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and effectively manage guest complaints and concerns.

Requirements:

• Excellent guest service skills and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to accurately handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
