Position Summary
The Mortgage Financing Specialist is accountable for the origination of mortgage loans in alignment with the Real Estate Lending policies. This role involves conducting initial pre-qualification discussions and assembling comprehensive loan application packages along with the requisite documentation. The specialist communicates credit extension policies in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor standards.
Ensures compliance with Mortgage Loan scheduling and documentation protocols, while meeting production goals as established by the Senior Vice President of Lending and the Assistant Vice President of Real Estate.
Engages with members, potential members, builders, developers, and real estate agents in a timely and professional manner. Offers general information about the Credit Union and promotes additional services. Provides support to Real Estate Loan staff as needed.Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will possess one to two years of experience as a Loan Originator, along with established Realtor connections and a solid Realtor pipeline.
A background in Real Estate is essential.
