Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer - Bicycle Patrol to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a Bicycle Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing basic security coverage and ensuring the safety of patrons and team members at our property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observation and Compliance: Observe and obey all street, lot, and garage traffic regulations.
  • Bicycle Operations: Drive company bicycles in designated routes only.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct vehicular traffic in self-parking garages, employee parking areas, surface parking lots, and throughout the property.
  • Incident Reporting: Ensure safety and security of vehicles in lots and garages by reporting all suspicious behavior to a Security Supervisor.
  • Asset Protection: Always keep alert for unauthorized attempts to remove vehicles.
  • Financial Security: Ensure that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to incidents, accidents, and calls for assistance.
  • Medical Care: Provide emergency medical care to the highest degree necessary within allowable limits for the certification held.
  • Communication: Conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and company/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Traffic Control: At times, may have to control the traffic flow throughout the facility.
  • Direction and Information: Must be able to give accurate and detailed directions to a patron's destination.
  • Customer Service: Must be able to answer questions regarding hotel services, shows, facilities, and directions.
  • Documentation: Completes thorough documentation of all medical calls.
  • Inventory and Maintenance: Completes all required checklists for inventory and inspections of supplies and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Notifies a Supervisor of any problems with equipment and/or supplies and makes note of supplies that require replenishing.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Replaces supplies as necessary and reports missing supplies to a Supervisor.
  • Disinfection and Cleaning: Disinfects and maintains cleanliness of EMS equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms as per the requirements of daily assignments.
  • Emergency Coordination: Assists in the coordination of emergency situations.
  • Additional Duties: Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of guest service experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, and ride a bicycle for long periods of time, able to climb steps, respond to emergency situations, and handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and fast-paced situations.
