Position Overview:

The Scheduling Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to schedules and managing all scheduling tasks within the division. This position supports resource planning activities and is vital for maintaining efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and prioritize resource schedules while maintaining updated schedule templates.
  • Provide immediate assistance to field teams regarding rescheduling needs.
  • Monitor project timelines and communicate any delays, collaborating with trade partners to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Oversee the usage of BuildPro/SupplyPro and implement proactive measures for division-wide compliance.
  • Support and troubleshoot BuildPro/SupplyPro systems.
  • Assist the Permits Coordinator with documentation entry and standard operating procedures.
  • Engage with the RPM in tracking defects and scheduling improvements for trade partners.
  • Conduct field audits to ensure the scheduling process is effective and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with trade partners to assess their capacity and prevent overbooking, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain daily communication with trade partners, construction managers, and other associates to ensure clarity and resourcefulness in discussions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with BuildPro/SupplyPro systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a construction manager or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Must exhibit a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
  • Must have valid auto insurance coverage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and JD Edwards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent time management abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple detail-oriented tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of the construction process and the interrelation of scheduled tasks is essential.
