Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is looking for a qualified Podiatrist to deliver comprehensive care at a residential facility. The role involves performing thorough assessments, executing diagnostic evaluations, formulating treatment strategies, and providing patient care in line with established standards in podiatric medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower leg.
- Address patient concerns by recommending corrective footwear, designing orthotic devices, and fabricating custom shoes.
- Prescribe necessary medications and oversee rehabilitation efforts.
- Request imaging studies and lab analyses; maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Develop and implement policies related to podiatric care for facility residents.
- Conduct consultations, establish treatment protocols, and monitor patient progress.
- Advise clinical staff on the podiatric needs of residents, including procedural guidance and equipment recommendations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
- Current and valid California podiatric license.
- Certification in CPR and BLS.
- A minimum of one year of continuous clinical experience within the last three years.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a residential care facility dedicated to elderly patients, where the focus is on enhancing mobility and overall quality of life.
