Operations Leader Trainee Role

We are hiring an Operations Leader Trainee to join our Career Development Program. As an Operations Leader Trainee, you will engage in on-the-job training, job shadowing, leadership development, and partner with your manager to develop the skills and knowledge that will accelerate your career through a 12–18 month training program.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in rotational assignments in various segments of the branch business with on-the-job training to learn business systems and processes, as well as company culture.
  • Receive an inclusive career experience with dedicated resources to ensure a successful long-term career path at White Cap.
  • Participate in a tailored learning curriculum with leadership development sessions, operations training, and systems training focused on developing future operations leaders for opportunities that best match your interests, skills, and abilities.
  • Benefit from a robust support system, including a Regional Advocate, Mentor, and additional process coaches to ensure you receive the best training White Cap has to offer.
  • Have exposure to Senior Leadership at White Cap throughout the program.
  • Present a capstone project to White Cap leadership, creating exposure for you across the company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willing to relocate upon completing the program.
  • Able to start the program between March and June 2025.
  • Driven to succeed with an energetic, professional, and goal-oriented attitude.
  • Strong operations focus, including the ability to partner with customers to develop value-added solutions and experience leading or building a team.
  • Strong communication skills and experience conversing with team members and customers.
About the Career Development Program

The Career Development Program is a 12–18 month training program designed to develop future operations leaders. The program includes on-the-job training, job shadowing, leadership development, and a tailored learning curriculum. You will have the opportunity to engage in rotational assignments, receive an inclusive career experience, and benefit from a robust support system.

As an Operations Leader Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a leadership role at White Cap. You will work closely with your manager and a team of dedicated resources to ensure a successful long-term career path.
