About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients, including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast, Small parts, Neurological, and limited vascular exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret ultrasound exams to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
- Photograph images of organs shown on display module, or remove strip printout from equipment to obtain permanent record of internal examination.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Travel to other satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctioning devices.
- Transport patients as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.
- ARDMS certification required, with 90-day grace period for RVT certification.
- OB/GYN, Abdominal, and Small parts experience required.
