About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Instrument Specialist to join our team at Natera, a global leader in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing. As a Clinical Instrument Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience supporting laboratory equipment, preferably in a biological science or biomedical engineering field. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, calibrating instruments, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will work closely with the Automation and laboratory teams to respond to instrument failures and ensure proper instrument function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with laboratory equipment
  • Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate results
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime
  • Collaborate with the Automation and laboratory teams to resolve instrument issues
  • Install new laboratory equipment to support lab capacity or new projects
