Job Summary:

The Plant Operations Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of waste at our facility. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration
  • Stage waste on conveyor systems or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system
  • Scan waste into the Biotrack system for proper record-keeping purposes
  • Load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers with waste for processing
  • Place reusable containers on tub wash lines for decontamination
  • Operate tub wash units to ensure proper functioning and remove clean tubs for reuse
  • Decontaminate vehicle cargo-carrying portions and reload reusable tubs
  • Ensure housekeeping issues are addressed promptly, including spills, floor cleanliness, and debris removal

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 years of experience in a plant environment, preferably with a driver's license
  • Forklift certification
