Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning, draping, and preparing equipment.
  • Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures, including handling instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or equipment malfunctions to the surgical team.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
  • Effective 5/26/2019, 2 years of operating room experience in surgical technologist role required.
  • Current certification preferred.
