Job Title: Adolescent LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Poplar Springs Hospital. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to adolescents in our acute care and residential facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Carry out responsibilities and tasks utilizing initiative and according to established nursing and hospital policy
  • Assist with supervision of Mental Health Workers and students on the unit and shift of assignment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • American Heart Association CPR certification
  • Handle With Care certification
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
  • Experience working with adolescents or a related population
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
