Position Responsibilities
As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for delivering instruction and training to students within the Career Education Center. You will create personalized achievement plans and academic objectives to facilitate student success. Collaborating with other instructors, you will integrate applied academics into vocational curricula to enhance educational outcomes.
Your duties will include:
o Adhering to all integrity protocols and ensuring the accuracy of student data.
o Striving to meet or exceed performance targets set by the organization.
o Providing academic training that leads to GED/HSD completion and enhances literacy and numeracy skills.
o Offering comprehensive and individualized support to track student progress and completion of the program.
o Maintaining an organized and conducive learning environment, holding students accountable for their conduct.
o Planning and organizing tasks to meet established objectives and deadlines.
o Demonstrating job knowledge to fulfill all responsibilities effectively.
o Mentoring and modeling Career Success Standards as required.
o Ensuring high-quality supervision and management of the student population, fostering a respectful and accountable atmosphere.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, with a Master's degree preferred. A valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver is necessary. Previous teaching experience or familiarity with Job Corps is advantageous.
