Academic Advisor and SARA Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Academic Advisor and SARA Coordinator to join our team at the University of South Dakota School of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will provide academic advising, career guidance, and support services to prospective and enrolled students in the Graduate Public Health and Health Science department.

• Provide academic advising and career guidance to students to develop meaningful educational plans consistent with career and life goals.
• Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and minors to support learning and career goals.
• Assist with departmental recruitment activities and provide guidance and career pathways for graduate students.
• Coordinate the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) for the School of Health Science programs.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and experience working with college students is required.
• A graduate degree is preferred, and education and experience in a healthcare discipline or higher education is preferred.
