Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the access and egress of individuals and assets
  • Enforce loss prevention measures through visible patrols and monitoring
  • Ensure the safety of traffic and uphold facility security
  • Support employees, visitors, clients, and operational teams
  • Perform routine inspections to identify security vulnerabilities and system failures
  • Provide emergency medical assistance as necessary
  • Respond to intrusion and fire alarm activations
  • Document activities thoroughly and follow up on incidents
  • Conduct monthly inspections of fire extinguishers
  • Engage in training sessions for security personnel
  • Maintain professional standards of conduct
  • Become proficient in Access Control and CCTV system functionalities
  • Keep accurate logs, access records, and emergency alerts
  • Adapt to various weather conditions while performing duties
  • Execute any additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • State Security Certification or Peace Officer background preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • First Aid certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Willingness to work additional shifts as needed
  • Commitment to ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license required
