Cybersecurity Specialist II


ISHPI Information Technologies, Inc. is a recognized industry leader in providing Cybersecurity support and consulting services to our Federal agency and Department of Defense partners.

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist II to support the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) IT Support effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the system owner and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in developing and writing certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation packages.
  • Follow National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and/or Department of Defense IA Certification and Accreditation Process standards in performance of job functions.
  • Familiar with commonly used tools, concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Qualifications:

  • Accredited BS degree or higher and four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Requires active DoD M IAT Level III of either CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH or CCSP.
  • Also requires IAM Level III certification of either CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC or CCISO.

Clearance Requirement:

Selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance. Active clearance preferred.
