We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Pacific Companies, Inc. in Oregon.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Physician to work as a Hospitalist in a 25-bed critical access hospital serving the community of Oregon.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Job

This is a 6-month contract position, starting in February, with a potential extension based on performance and need.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Obstetricians and Pediatricians, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing primary and secondary care to newborns and infants up to 18 years old
  • Covering level I nursery call, routine deliveries, and well-baby visits
  • Collaborating with the pediatric team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree
  • Oregon Medical License required, active or inactive; willing to reactivate if necessary
  • Covid-19 vaccination status must be compliant with state regulations
Compensation

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 depending on experience, plus additional benefits, such as health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
