Lead Hospitalist Position
We are recruiting a Lead Hospitalist to support our existing hospitalist program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Hospitalist and administrative experience.
About the Role
As the lead hospitalist, you will lead a team of physicians and mid-level providers. You will be responsible for clinical work and administrative duties, working closely with other physician leaders and nursing, operations, and case management teams to meet high quality standards for patient safety, outcomes, throughput, and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of about 12 physicians and 2 mid-level providers
- Spend about three quarters of your time on clinical work, with the rest protected for administrative duties
- Work closely with other physician leaders and nursing, operations, and case management teams
- Meet high quality standards for patient safety, outcomes, throughput, and patient care
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position includes $160 per hour for administrative work, not to exceed $100,000 annually, and a competitive base compensation of $1,474 per shift for Hospitalist, requiring a minimum of 140 shifts for full-time employment.

Requirements
