Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Engage with patients to understand their medication needs and provide personalized advice and guidance on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Dispense Medications: Accurately and efficiently dispense medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Operate Pharmacy Systems: Utilize pharmacy software and technology systems to manage prescriptions, inventory, and patient records.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations and provide support as needed.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practices, regulations, and industry developments to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist Licensure: Current licensure in the state(s) within the district.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and pharmacy software and technology systems.
