Clinity Talent is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager to assume full accountability for the overall planning, organization, coordination, and evaluation of their assigned area(s). This role is crucial to the delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care and the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing standards and policies in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish and measure general and unit-specific competencies, providing opportunities for staff members to achieve their required competencies.
- Utilize electronic medical records to streamline patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
- Foster a culture of ongoing clinical research, inquiry, and expansion of the clinical nursing knowledge base, utilizing evidence-based best practices.
- Facilitate active involvement in recruitment activities, interviews, and candidate selection, involving staff in the interview process.
- Promote unit-based decision-making and facilitate continuous assessment and improvement of services provided through department auditing and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify and resolve personnel issues, consulting with the human resources department and/or appropriate manager/director as needed.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, disseminating information in a timely and transparent manner.
Requirements:
- Current New Hampshire RN license required.
- Minimum of 35 years of clinical nursing experience required.
- BSN degree or MSN degree preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Membership in a professional organization preferred.
