POSITION: METER SERVICES TECHNICIAN

No Prior Experience Necessary, Comprehensive Training Provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for Gas Meter Service Technicians to operate in various locations, performing essential tasks such as connecting and disconnecting gas meters.

Our training program is thorough, designed to provide technicians with the necessary skills for the job, including safety protocols and effective community engagement.

Field technician roles involve significant outdoor activity, requiring walking and working in diverse weather conditions. Technicians will frequently bend, kneel, and stand throughout their shifts. The equipment handled may weigh between 2-15 pounds, and the ability to interpret utility maps may be necessary for daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; prior outdoor experience is preferred.
  • Capability to walk, bend, and lift weights up to 10-15 pounds.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.

Experience in customer service is advantageous.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Full-time, Daytime positions available.

Remote mobile office with all necessary equipment provided.

Availability for overtime and occasional weekends may be required.
