Job OverviewThis role offers an estimated salary of up to $21.01/hour, reflecting the value we place on our employees' skills and expertise. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will perform monitor technician duties and unit secretarial clerical tasks while serving as a communication center for the nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the nursing staff, ensuring seamless operations and efficient communication
- Operate monitoring equipment and provide technical assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing strong organizational and analytical skills
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Clinical experience or completion of a Unit Secretary course (preferred)
- Ability to successfully complete competency verification before starting on assigned unit
- BLS Certification required at time of hire
