Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Resilient Healthcare in the McKinney, Plano, Allen, Richardson, and East Frisco areas.
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
About the Role:
- As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care.
- You will be responsible for preparing engaging exercises and activities for patients, providing counseling and consultations, and assisting with direct patient care according to plans of care.
- Our ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas with an Associate degree in Physical Therapy and proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
- You will also demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws, as well as physical endurance and the ability to work primarily in a standing position and lift at least 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and exam room ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed.
- Review patient files prior to appointments and have a clear understanding of challenges to be addressed.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Attend continuing education courses to advance personal knowledge and experience within the field.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Proficient in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
- Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
- Physical endurance and the ability to work primarily in a standing position and lift at least 50 lbs.
