Land Acquisition and Mineral Lease Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition and Mineral Lease Manager to join our team at Albemarle Corporation. As a key member of our Land Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of brine/bromine production, reviewing lease administration, and maintaining good lessor and community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain necessary leasing to provide continuity of brine/bromine production
  • Review lease administration to ensure compliance with Arkansas real property law
  • Negotiate terms of ongoing and future surface and ROW use with landowners
  • Prepare contracts for timber removal, and surface and ROW agreements
  • Monitor AOGC hearing dockets and regulations, and similar Arkansas legislation
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of diversified Land Office experience with knowledge and experience in various Land Office functions
  • Equivalent work experience in land leasing and/or title analyst fields may be substituted
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and previous experience working directly with Senior Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and think strategically
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
