Position Overview


The N2W Integration Engineer plays a pivotal role within the N2W Active IT and project team, delivering expertise in systems engineering, integration, and project management.

This position is crucial for integrating various architectures, systems, and devices to enhance the N2W Program Office's capabilities.

The Integration Engineer acts as a primary technical liaison for multiple N2W initiatives, working collaboratively with diverse teams to establish new functionalities and requirements.

Furthermore, the role involves evaluating prospective IT capabilities, conducting comprehensive studies, and formulating integration strategies. Close collaboration with contractor and government personnel is essential to resolve infrastructure challenges in a multi-contractor program setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the engineering aspects of the N2W Project's data center
  • Identify and address technical requirement challenges
  • Conduct alternative analyses and create strategic roadmaps
  • Provide project management insights and integration assistance
  • Research and suggest architectural alternatives
  • Oversee project execution and offer informed recommendations
  • Present status updates and analytical findings
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Integration Engineer role should possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience along with an appropriate degree.

Strong competencies in deploying and implementing data centers, analyzing power requirements, and designing end-user IT systems are essential. A TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the capability to obtain SCI clearance is also required.


Essential Skills and Experience:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related IT field
  • 10 years of experience in deploying data centers or technology facilities
  • 2 years of experience in power requirement analysis
  • 3 years of experience in designing end-user IT systems
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to secure SCI clearance

Preferred:

  • M.S. Degree in a relevant discipline
  • 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering & Integration
  • 3 years of experience with IC ITE Desktop Environment
