Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the Program Director for Construction Engineering position at Colorado State University (CSU). This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of talented professionals and contribute to the growth and development of a world-class university.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction engineering, industry partnerships, and teaching, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will work closely with an industry advisory group, department heads, and university administrators to ensure the success of the program.

Apart from this, you will be expected to teach relevant undergraduate and graduate courses, develop and maintain a nationally recognized research program, direct student research, and participate in service and development activities. You will also work with student organizations and engage with the broader community.

This is a full-time appointment at the associate or full professor level with tenure in the CEE Department. The salary range is $140,000-$180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Requirements:
  • PhD in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with industry partnerships to support education and/or research.
  • Professional experience in the construction industry.
  • Evidence of ability to successfully teach university-level courses within the construction engineering academic domain.
  • Evidence of ability to successfully publish in academic proceedings and journals.
