About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Financial Advisor to join our team at Edward Jones. As a key member of our client team, you will work closely with our Financial Advisors to provide personalized investment and financial solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather information and collect suitability to deeply understand clients' and prospective clients' needs, priorities, and concerns.
  • Meet with clients regularly to track progress toward goals, uncover additional assets, proactively address emerging concerns, and adjust their strategy to ensure their needs are met.
  • Partner with other members of the clients' professional team, such as attorneys, accountants, and trust officers, to help fully understand clients' goals and circumstances.
  • Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, and changes to portfolio construction/investments, and make recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with the FA and branch team to ensure alignment and create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
  • Cultivate relationships with organizations and businesses to maintain presence in the community and obtain referrals and new business.
  • Coordinate with the FA to assist in the creation of new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
  • Continually develop yourself to grow personally and professionally.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required, if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry preferred.
  • FINRA licenses required within three months. State insurance licenses required.
  • As an associate, you are required to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, as well as required training to maintain license in good standing.
