Key Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and take vitals
  • Collect lab specimens and assist physicians with exams when necessary
  • Maintain clinic exam rooms and initiate prior authorization requests
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians
  • Perform accurate documentation and maintain professional telephone and interpersonal communication skills
  • Complete general office duties based on departmental needs

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or one-year MA experience required
  • Medication Aide certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
