Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Field Inspector to join our team at KGPCo. As a key member of our Outside Plant construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our fiber optic infrastructure is constructed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify the quality of buried and aerial cable installations
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Take detailed field records of installed cable, pole placement, and drops
  • Supervise and manage OSP construction projects
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in outside plant construction or telecom
  • Valid US Driver's license
  • Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for OSP construction
  • Locator knowledge and experience
  • Fiber and outside plant knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to sit for periods of time and perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, and walking in construction areas
  • Must be a team player and willing to work with a team to achieve project goals
