About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Summit Food Service LLC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of our culinary team to ensure efficient and high-quality meal services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and instruct culinary staff in food preparation, presentation, and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure timely meal service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of culinary staff to ensure efficient use of resources and effective team management.
  • Develop and implement menu planning and inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level product knowledge and ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service.
  • Experience supervising a team and managing staff performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Food Handlers certification.
