The RN Treatment Coordinator is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing primary skin care to patients under the medical direction and supervision of attending physicians. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing, with a focus on wound care and geriatric nursing.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, identifying and managing specific skin disorders and primary/secondary lesions.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to educate CNAs on proper positioning, training, and skin care.
- Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment and revise treatment plans through coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and care.
- Assist in the evacuation of patients and demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
- Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State and maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Prior wound care experience preferred, with one (1) year geriatric nursing experience also preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation, with certification remaining current during employment.
