About the Role:
Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an experienced RN to fill the role of Operational Supervisor Care Coordination RN. This position is responsible for supervising a team of care coordinators and ensuring the effective management of patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in care coordination or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of care coordinators and provide guidance on complex cases.
- Communicate and coordinate with the House Coordinator to ensure effective bed management.
- Work with the Manager, Care Coordination Leadership, and other campuses as needed.
- In the absence of the Manager or Director, assume responsibility for the team.
Requirements:
- Nursing degree and three (3) years of experience as a hospital care coordinator or insurance case manager.
- Current Standards of Care & Criteria, working knowledge of Intequal and/or Milliman.
- Ability to train and direct employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Five years of experience in care coordination or a related field.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager (ACM).
