We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedure Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Special Procedure Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular services.
Key Responsibilities- Administer contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines.
- Set up sterile trays and maintain a sterile field, adhering to hospital protocol.
- Assist interventional physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and record hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas.
- Start and maintain IV access, accurately following physician orders.
- Current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Completion of ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, guests, physicians, and colleagues.
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath lab or EP lab experience preferred.
