We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
Responsibilities- Perform contrast media administration according to age/weight specific guidelines
- Set up sterile trays and maintain sterile field, according to hospital protocol
- Scrub and assist interventional physician during interventional procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patients during procedures
- Accurately document completion of exams in Meditech and verify images in PACS
- Current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Current license or registry of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)]
- BLS required
- Completion of ACLS training within 6 months of hire
