Community Association Manager

A Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential communities, ensuring that all aspects of community management are handled efficiently and effectively. This includes managing the association's finances, ensuring compliance with governing documents, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and board members.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Responsible for association fiscal management, including financial statement review and comprehension, budget development and implementation, and management of association accounting needs.
- Legal/Compliance: Ensure all civil code and legal document requirements are met, and association remains in compliance. Manage association insurance coverage and needs, and serve as liaison to association counsel.
- Communication: Act as an interface between the Board of Directors and community, coordinate and attend board meetings, and create agendas and board packets.
- Education: Four-year college degree preferred, or comparable business experience.
- Experience: CMCA preferred; will be required within two years of hire.
- Skills: Excellent customer service and relationship building background/skills, effective communication skills, collaborative decision-making and problem-solving skills, and ability to read and understand financial statements and budgets.
