Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Greet guests and determine the number in their party. Seat guests by finding a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; placing clean/current menu in front of guest, etc.
  • Table Management: Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs.
  • Menu Management: Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Service Standards: Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Work Experience: No related work experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
