We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our Food and Beverage team at 14th & V Street - Busboys and Poets. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Food and Beverage Service: Guide guests through menus, take accurate orders, and work with other team members to serve food and beverages that exceed guest expectations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service with a smile, including 90-second greeting times, 3-minute-3-bite check-ins, and closing down service by collecting payment and making it an experience that keeps guests coming back.
- Teamwork: Assist in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant, including bussing tables, rolling silverware, wiping down common surfaces, stocking service areas, mopping, restocking items, etc.
- Host/Hostess Support: Answer phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and greet, seat, and thank guests as needed.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age to handle alcohol.
- Availability: Must have weekend availability and work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- Communication Skills: Must love talking to people and have excellent communication skills.
