Job Title: Security Officer

Deployed Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct unarmed foot patrols within a government environment to provide superior service to customers, visitors, and employees.
  • Facilitate guest services, including transportation and area attraction inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, concerns, or complaints and relay pertinent information to management.
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
  • Perform stationary post assignments, including opening and closing doors for clients.
  • Engage in proactive scanning of post-assignment areas to ensure compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
  • Proactively scan for potential threats stemming from criminal activity or life safety issues.
  • Proactively seek out and develop rapport with customers by assessing their needs and addressing them.
  • Stay current with the latest information related to your site and area, including crime trends, terrorist threats, and local news.
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
  • Identify and warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
  • Prevent individuals from theft of company property.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Liaison with local law enforcement.
  • Ensure the job site area is always clean and professional-looking.
  • Assist with basic first aid and make emergency notifications, if needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move through narrow spaces.
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Resided in the continental U.S. for the last 3 consecutive years (full-time).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
  • Pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
