About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.
  • Manage care of patients across the age continuum from pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
  • Certification by a nationally recognized certification board, such as Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS).
  • CPR/BLS certification.
