About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc. in Madison, WI.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL with an acceptable MVR and experience operating an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport heavy equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
  • Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Class A CDL with an acceptable MVR.
  • A current Medical Examiner's card.
  • The ability to strap and chain heavy equipment.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Work Environment

This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment with marked changes in temperature and humidity.

You will be required to perform physically demanding work such as crane assembly/disassembly and may be required to work out of town on occasion.
