Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team of experts in the field of nuclear engineering. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for performing integrated engineering processes to fulfill project requirements and achieve target dates.
Key Responsibilities
- Author and review designs, specifications, analyses, and drawings in compliance with engineering principles and applicable standards.
- Prepare and review design concept drawings for equipment using input from various technical disciplines.
- Recognize, define, and resolve problems within assigned area.
- Comply with strict quality assurance standards and on-time delivery.
- Travel less than 20% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university.
- Minimum of five years of experience in design with a minimum of 3 years DOE Nuclear experience or similar environment.
- Knowledge, application, and understanding of ASME Codes.
- Knowledgeable in glove box design.
- Excellent attention to detail and capability for producing error-free documents.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of engineering design practices and principles.
- Experience with using industry codes to develop equipment design.
- Experience working with engineers and fabricators to develop designs and drawings.
