Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized advising and guidance to students with disabilities
  • Coordinate and implement accommodations for students with disabilities, including SCOUT transportation services and classroom accommodations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student files
  • Act as a resource for the campus community on disability-related issues

Requirements

  • Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a related field and two years of professional experience in direct student support or a related field
  • Ability to advise students individually and in groups, relate skillfully to faculty and staff, and demonstrate ability to organize and plan for efficient handling of work and projects
