Senior Care Director Leadership Opportunity

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, committed to delivering high-quality care with a personal touch. As a Resident Care Director, you will play a crucial role in championing quality of life for seniors and their families.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our resident care team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in nursing management, staff development, and clinical process improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the health and wellness of residents, overseeing medication management programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Health and Wellness: Provide strategic leadership for resident care, manage nursing teams, and promote resident health and wellness through direct application of the nursing process.
- Medication Management: Lead medication care managers, oversee medication management programs, and ensure resident safety in medication use processes.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Track and report clinical quality data, participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement committees, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Financial Management: Manage department budgets, understand labor and other expenses, and submit monthly expenses and budget data in a timely manner.
- Certifications/Licenses: Current state license as a professional LVN/RN, CPR certification, and First Aid training.
- Experience: Minimum two years LPN/LVN experience, at least one year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment, and minimum one year nursing management experience.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods, infection control practices, and computer proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Competitive Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses.
