About the Job

Sunrise Senior Living, a leading provider of senior living services, is seeking an experienced Memory Care Program Manager to lead our Reminiscence neighborhood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality programs that promote resident engagement, independence, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of memory care programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs of residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including nursing, therapy, and activities, to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Design and deliver staff training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills in dementia care and program management.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on program participation, outcomes, and resident feedback.
  • Foster strong relationships with families, residents, and community partners to promote collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in memory care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., gerontology, psychology, social work).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dementia care, program management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing programs that improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
